I can't get it either yet, but round our way there is a petition going to get more interest so that they'll sort the exchange out.

 

Have registered interest with BT though and had an info pack through in the post. I think BT only need a few hundred people or so to register before they'll hook it up.

yep that what situation i was in.. bt slow as **** getting their arses into gear.. i registered about a year ago, it went live today.

Anyone with demon internet, there broadband is a couple of quid cheaper than most at 24.99 and you get a static IP address?

Congrate's old chum,got NTL 1MB Broad Band myself,spiffingly quick old boy !

I pay 22.50, static IP, I even get a hosting package thrown in with it, 20mb space, with php, cgi, mysql, i get 20 email addy's too, no activation fee either :p

Just a quick warning to anyone thinking of getting a static IP make sure your sucurity is bang upto date and get a firewall if you dont have one as every time you connect to the web you will have the same IP and therefore are much more open to attack but hey its broadband babby :D :D :D

I don't mean to gloat....but as I work for ntl: I get my 1Mb cable for half price, £17.50 :D :D :D

Yeah I had an Aussie mate I worked with at my last place and NTL really upset him good and proper. ;)

Customer service piss me off and I work for them!!
