Zedworld in my experience provides an honest value for money service difficult to find in the current Zed market. Jeff is an excellent guy who would rather do you a favour than overcharge or present an incomplete job.

Reading the current speculations in general chat, I wonder whether Any Duff has chosen the right forum and I do feel he needs to make his point. Duffer is a great guy and the help he has offered to many Zed owners is beyond reproach. However, I am the owner of a small business and from experience I know there is nothing more damaging than implied accusations.

Just my two penneth and please do not persecute me for it. I would much rather help anyone than hinder them and right now I do feel an air of impending explosion on the general forum which is why I write here, in the effort to make a clear point. Incidentally, my cheque is on the way to Craig as I speak.

I do feel this old issue is going to raise its head once more so from the want to help and advise those Zed owners who have not yet been to Zedworld, I have had nothing but the best of service at all times. We are all allowed our opinion and this is mine.

Are you still with me on the coin thing? If so a coin is round in most cases unless it's a 50p piece which complicates things further.

With a round coin there is only one real side the rim, and how do you tell which is the top or bottom side?? Ha haaaaaaa. ;)

On the same line of thinking. How the phuck is there two or even three sides to every story? Stories predominantly are written or spoken to be conveyed. They are not two or even three dimensional so that blows that out the H2O. :D

20p pieces are also non-round :D

the psycological arrow of time is the way we percieve time to "Pass" we can only travel one way - were entropy (disorder) always increases

time is only a dimension therefore entropy never really increases or decreases only appears to due to our limititations, if you were everywere at once u might see outside these walls

Pan-dimensional coinage. They are at all times top, bottom, left, right and middle. Which is which is only as you perceive it at the time and not necessarily true.

Perhaps u r taking too much medication ?

From experience I would also trust Jeff to carry out on my Zed. He has always been honest and helpful to me.

I have had no dealing with Duff, and only a few dealings with Jeff and can fully vouch for his approchability, professionalism frendlyness and commitment.

it seems to me these to guys are very similar in ethos and both would go well out of there way to help out a fellow Zed..er. maybe the fact that thes guys appear to be very similar is whats causing the problems.

Frankly i think this discussuion is a waste of everyones time as well as potentially damaging to either one or both of the guys that we can rely on to fix our problems.

isnt it about time, everyone grew up! meet up and have a pint and a laugh!.

Mick

It would just like to add my views on Jeff and Zedworld.

I have taken my car to him twice and both times he has been honest, friendly and very helpfull.

He even fitted my rear pads when I didn't have the money and trusted me to send a cheque to him, which is why I sent a cheque for more than the bill was.

He did far more work than he charged me for, that's not like any other place I have taken a car too.

I have no bad words to say about Jeff and Zedworld and if there's something going on that's bad:

A: It's not really our business, it involves the people it involves and should only involve us if it might effect us.

B: If you do feel you MUST get involved, you really should wait till you hear ALL sides of the story and then make your own mind up.

Remember we are all allowed our own opinions but it's not fair to voice them if you only have half the facts and they could damage someone or their business.

Entropic decay? How would you term this.....? As far as my masters took me was to realise that there is no such thing as decay in terms of entropy. Energy is transferred in nature and entropy merely serves to increase diversity....don`t see any decay there. In fact i might be pushed so far as to say that there is no such thing as entropic decay....unless of course you refer to such within a sociological model......but even then, can an increase in diversity lead to decay......good question

Sorry...end of ramble.....

they say chaos is a manifestation of evil ! not so

words are really a hall of mirrors when explaining things of this nature

if i smash a cup of a tea onto the ground i have

1. made a mess

2.increased the dsorder of the universe the tea will never go back into the unbroken mug . -in our direction of time

entropic decay is were entropy decreases this is not possible unless you are travelling through time ina different manner were probability and chance becomes causality .

anyway dont want to clog up this bbs anymore

Clogging up aside I believe you are misinterpreting...

Entropy (ir disorder) is by its very nature a source of creation....if it were not for the entropic nature of the universe then helium would not have formed from hydrogen, thereby there could have been no carbon, oxygen.....ie no life. Don`t sound like decay to me and we are not talking about interpretation of dimensional effects here...just chemical and physical "realities"

I question your logic but ho hum.....we can all be mistaken

Jeff @ Zedworld, top bloke, always been there to help me out when needed...........no complaints.....

Everyones entitled to their own opinions.........;)

but...

time is a self imposed division of our existance, and one entities' measure may not be the same as a second (that's a 2nd entity, not a second as in a time measurement). Therefore what may appear as entropy to one manifestation will not to another...

besides time can be changed at the will of the viewer and does not adhear to the rules of the physical univers.

:D

Hay this bullsh1t spouting is great fun ;)

You may not have noticed but I was referring to time as a perceptual entity. Entropic action is not. Dimensions are not referred to in entropic calculations (at least at the simple thermodynamic level) and as such any reference to entropy in terms of any dimension, time or otherwise is fallacious. No bullshit, merely mathematical and perception independent fact.

You are right though....it is fun :D :D

The hi-jacking of threads on BB is frowned upon, there are many reasons for this. Do you feel this is justified, could another thread have been started for 'other' discussions on said BB, Discuss....

Since I started the thread.....hmmm.....NOPE!

Appreciate the point though. I will quit with the techno babble!

But I must say that even after I started the thread, I went down to Tamworth and Jeffer pulled it out of the bag again. I bought his old rims and asked him to run a quick conzult on the old thunder. This he did, found a fault or two, spent about an hour correcting said faults and sent me on my happy way....without charging a penny for it!

As I said in the beginning, my opinion is worth no more or less than anyone elses but the comments that I made at the start stand.

Take care all......happy Zedding!

I was over there the other day and had full consult, all clear!! ;)

Still not charging! He does too much for nothing, not complaining mind! :D

Matty.

Jeff? Sound bloke.

Has sorted a number of jobs for my Zed, including some nasty ones too. Last one was the night before he was to go away on holiday, I had forgotten to give him the locking wheel nut key (ooops!) and so took it around. Even though he was working on other cars, he worked overnight to make sure the job was done.

Cant ask for more than that really.

Andy? Sounds like a sound bloke.

Location is probably the only reason I havent, Jeff is closer. The only people I wouldnt ever consider using are Nissan themselves.

Just my 2p worth. :)

Jeff came out to my house just over a week ago to check out my Z, which wouldn't reverse or roll backwards yet I could drive forwards ? Turned out to be the Auto-Box. He didn't charge a penny and chatted about Z's for 20 mins or so. The guy is a genuine enthusiast, I'm glad to have met him cos people like him are far and few between.

Nice One Jeff

~Quik~

urrrr few and far between I meant

~Quik~

Well I don't know Zedworld - too far away for me but being an outsider on this seems as if the guy has genuinely helped tons of guys from this forum. So that's good!

Geoff.

Right, now I have a question miss moderator :D Why the f##k did this one not get moved????? It certainly isn't help and advice???

I await your answer ;):D:D:D

I'm so sorry, I must have missed this one. :p

Plus which, I wasn't a mod when it was started. Do you want it moved?
