>The virus (called jdbgmgr.exe) is not detected by Norton or McAfee

>anti-virus systems, or VET to date. The virus sits quietly for 14 days

>before damaging the system. It is sent automatically by messenger and by

>the address book, whether or not you send emails to your contacts.

The basic response to anything like this is.... IGNORE IT. 99% of these "warnings" are, in fact, just nonsense. If you are still concerned, go to http://www.mcaffee.com, and look it up in their virus database. But, as I said... Mostly B**%%ks.

Hi Mark havent heard about this one but his instructions seem safe enough generally with any form of mallicious code as long as you dont open it you will be safe wouldnt hurt to do a search as he describes in the instructions!!

Isn't this file something to do with Javascript and should be on your computer?

I got the same mail about a month ago.

About a week later I got another mail (from freeserve I think) saying that the first one was a hoax and to disregard it. Apparently if you follow the instructions you delete some javascript files...

Its the microsoft javascript debugger i believe its all listed in the trend hoax description anyway

This place is usefull for other stuff as well as cars hey

:D :D :D :D

Thanks everyone, I thought I could kill two birds with one stone, ie warn everyone if it was real, and two, find out if it was real. I knew you were a clever lot.
