I'm after a set of Veilside C1 side skirts, as I'm not too keen on the new style. Apparently they aren't available anymore but I was speaking to Grasshopper yesterday and they said they could mould me a set.

Will these be the same quality does anyone know, or inferior compared to the "real thing" ?

Thanks.

To be honest SOME of the genuine Veilside stuff isn't al that great in quality, so yes copy moulds can be better, speak with Luke at Z centre first though on this as i'm sure he would be able to source em for yer.

Muwahaha, don't bother - took Zcenter 11 months to get mine & I think ChrisC would have still been waiting if I hadn't have given him mine

Edit: Smithy is correct, the copies are actually better quality than the originals as they tend to have more layers of fibreglass. Ask Syko as he's just fitted a full Cii kit

Cheers.........tried Luke at Z Centre first but he said no can do!

So will go down the re-mould route unless anyone is selling any?

..........go on...........;)

why don't you use the c11 skirts as luke does them and i think they are better styled as they don't look too over the top.

Agreed .... it would appear that my Veilside skirts are starting to crack:( Which to me would hint that they are not of the highest quality (despite looking the nuts IMO) ... :D

Does anyone know if there's anything that can be done to rescue these bits of kits, with slight cracking evident? Or is it the beginning of the end?

I'm afraid your only choice Johnny-boy is to sell them to me!

Any decent fibre-galssers should be able to sort it I would've thought!
