Just had to share that with someone because I was so chuffed :D

Did sound absolutely awsome when it was opened up though (could hear it very well 2 feet off his bumper).

Road was wide & twisty but he couldn't leave me at all between the bends. To be fair though, I was carrying a bit more momentum out of them - he wasn't the most commited round the twisties.

Wouldn't even speak though when we stopped at garage.

Nice one, John .... :D :D

I have had the pleasure of driving one of these beauties at Millbrook, last year, and I have to say, driving a manual one was a very similar experience to my own manual TT ... blokey from Aston didn't seem that impressed when I told him, though;)

The sounds was awe inspiring to say the least, hitting the starter button and hearing it snarl into life, was pretty near orgasmic!:p

CheerZ,

John.

You get that response sometimes when you beat somebody with a car costing 80K more.

Versus my Auto twin turbo SWB running at 12PSI

For a while it was close put the Zed pulled kept pulling away especially in the twisty bits.

When we pulled in for petrol got the same response

Good fun though

are you sure it was a vantage and not a six cylinder? ive been borrowing a db9 on weekends and there is no way my modded z is staying with that, unless my wife is driving the 9!!!!

ermm, a db9 has 450bhp and weighs over 100kg more than a 2+2 zed. I'd say a decent zed running 15psi could stay with it.

A stock ZX TT in good condition will just out perform a DB7 3.2 six cylinder; the DB7 V12 vantage or the DB9 will stuff it though.

But a decent modified ZX running higher boost etc - well that's anyone's guess

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
