If I sold my 300ZX (not decided to sell yet and car is not ready but it will be as follows if I do sell it)...how much wud I expect to get for the following...

1992 "J" Reg UK 300ZX TT AUTO UNMODDED. 85k miles, White, black leather, cool sound system, new rear tyres. All electrics work.

Bodywork is pretty good all round considering age. Full service history. Oil changed every 3k miles ! Since I've owned it, used only top tier Shell oil (Helix Ultra).

Would make a good base for a modded car.

>Also has a nice private plate (3 numbers, 3 letters)

>Also only used Optimax for last year

>Also used Auto Glym products to polish it

Where's the catch ? You being nice to me ?

Through my fleeting visits to where nelson works, I can confirm he has a 300zx and a 200sx. The zx is white, and has a plate that suits the car and looks nice!

Hey nelson, been back and forward to that place, is mr brewster still giving incident reports all the time! :D

Why wont my workers listen to me when I tell them to do stuff!

I never got pulled for no safety gear! ;) hehehe

What is wrong with what Nelson posted ?

I think the suggestion that one should only post if one is 'serious' about selling is a bit harsh. This isn't Autotrader.

I've gotta agree with Hairsy here, too ... perhaps Nelson's even looking for a little encouragement to keep the car ... dunno ..

I understand the frustration in looking for a Z, I've been through it twice at high levels of desperation ... even so, it *was* a bit harsh; don't think Nelson needs to be the whipping boy all the time.

You sure she's OK though Nelson? if you're not getting a thrill out of it ... I've had a 200sx and 3 zeds now, but the thrill has never gone from the Z's and although the S14 was a fine car, it never held quite the same appeal .... go-on keep it!!

Yes, safety mad - reason is to get a good safety record to impress customers/employees/industry etc. - but it's OTT. Running is not permitted on site FFS. To drive company cars, you need advanced driving test passed.:( Ball games and horseplay are banned. Everything electrical need a regular safety check, stanley knives are too dangerous, scalpels are hidden ! Even gloves for handling paper were proposed when someone got a paper cut !!!! They've also considered replacing all glassware in labs !! y noy just employ people who are NOT clumsy fookwits ?!

Then we drive home in fast metal boxes !

FACT - life is dangerous

FACT - people will have accidents

Nelson,

if you cant supply pics - then as has been suggested start at about 4.5K as a base model - then if you have ADDED stuff to it to improve it then maybe add a little bit more - or if you REMOVED stuff then deduct a larger amount as people wont want to buy a car with standard gear missing unless it cheap enough to make it worthwhile - or you can fit the stuff back into it to make it up to standard spec again.
