I have just started the process of purchasing a 1992 Z32 and am very excited (picking it up next week if all goes well!)
Just want to say hello to everyone and I am hoping to get involved in the community once I get my head into the car. Very keen to get some advice and tips starting out as to work I should look to do on the car early and parts/tools that are a must have to deal with issues that come up. The car is about 40,000 miles and apparently had a timing belt change at 32/35k (can't remember which right now) so that does reduce my stress a bit on that issues. Would probably just get it done around 60,000 still so I'm in line with the normal servicing cycle again.
Otherwise it seems to be in good condition, I checked the problem areas for rust and that the various switches seem to work all fine.
I have some experience working on my outgoing 370z but definitely on the more novice end so please info dump me all that you like and direct me to useful resources, I want to teach myself to keep this car running happy.
Thank all and looking forward to being a part of the community
