OK guys, back to the top again for this one! I'm just waiting for some information from Norbreck castle hortel. Apparently they host some of the TVR meets and have a huge car park..... Pretty much central Blackpool as well. How many can we get for this - we might be able to get a discount if we can get definate numbers.

OK guyZ and galZ, looks like I've finally managed to get a date organised!!! I know, I know, its been ages since I suggested the idea but hey....

So who's free on July 21st then? Basic plan would be to get there around 2(ish) on Saturday afternoon - earlier if you want 'cos its only down the road for me - then hit the pubs. Blah blah blah we go to a club and end up rolling in at 4 in the morning to the hotel where matty shows us what sort of dog he's pulled (but a great body ) and start ordering from the night porter. Then, on Sunday, just to cure the hang-over we'll have a few goes on the big one etc before saying goodbye and going home. So put yer orders in - I need to know how many people are coming and what rooms they need (single/double/family etc) so that I can screw the hotel company out of everything they've got (or should I say get a discount???).

Don't be scared just because its up-North!!! We're even trying to organise a trip round the TVR factory (for Hairsy the poor guy ) if that sounds good.

There have been quite a few new faces around the forum recently (me pretty much included) and it would be nice to meet all the new guyZ and galZ.

 

Please let me know if you are thinking of coming - this way I can get the price of the hotel down a bit

Hairsy, my mate Chris has just sold his Cerbera 4.2 after 8 months of ownership.

 

He said 'Don't touch em!' He lost 6k on what he paid for it. Got stitched up for a major service as soon as he bought it for £2k and reckons if you show the car to a TVR dealer they want £700 just to take a cursory glance.

 

He reckoned it only ever made sense on a track day where it killed everything else including a Venturi on slicks!

 

Oh but I still hanker after an AJPV8 Cerbera in yellow and bollocks to the cost.

 

ZX's are bloody cheap in comparison!!

Sorry to tell you this guyZ but it looks like we're gonna have to move the date The hotel 'accidentally' forgot to tell me that that weekend was the open golf at Lytham - meaning every hotel being booked up and charging £100pppn for minimum 2 nights stay - arse holes

This means the date is going to have to change - I am busy until last couple of weeks in August - does anybody have any dates they can suggest??? I know this is probably peak holiday times etc but towards the end of August things should be getting back to normal again.

Sorry to dissappoint and hope nobody has cancelled anything else for July 21st. Like the Hotel said - These things happen yeah right!!!!

So suggest some dates! This IS going to happen - just not sure when now

Everybody get to Blackpool on September 14th/15th - this is the new date. I'll be there with Matty on Friday night and all who want to come and join us are more than welcome. I get the feeling that some people will only want to do a 1 nighter but that's up to you

Please let me know if you are coming and I can get some prices in advance.
