We've set up and we've gone all red this year......!

Big thanks to Ian, Jay and Tom for exhibiting their cars - and a bigger thanks again to Ian for providing all the display equipment to ensure our stand looks great!

Thanks to all the guys for making me and Jen so welcome at the NEC. It was a pleasure to show our ZX - for us this was especially noteworthy as we saw the release of the 300ZX back in 1990 at the NEC - it was love at first sight! So it's ironic and nostalgic to be back at NEC 34 years later showing a ZX! Well done everyone. Great show. Hope to do it again next year.

It was great to see you and Jen again Jason - thank you both so much for stepping up to show your car and for being there to man the stand with us...!!

It is indeed a great experience, and one that I hope we can continue to have, so here's to next year..... !!!

Well you have a 1 in 40 chance that your EH7 car was the one used! Yours being built in August '90 (and taking the build cut-off as October '90).

If the show car's transmission can be determined then the odds come down further to 1 in 24 for a manual car like yours.

Having had another closer look at the car what is odd is this (arrowed). The car is also missing its "Twin Turbo" badge on the spoiler. Perhaps all is not as it first might seem.

Dash looks yellow but i think that's just the lighting from the spots lights around it as the rear centre break is also yellow

UK specs had dummy body coloured third brake light. Strange that the instrument binacle is the correct black colour.

Smooth vs textured plastics maybe. 

 

Thanks for all the pics! I recall a bright 'banana' yellow coloured car, like in the picture, not the pearlescent yellow. But it was a long time ago.
