Gutted i couldn't get there this year, it was just not worth risking my back by sitting in the car that long so soon after doing it. Am hoping i can recover enough for an event at Weedon Bec this weekend, if anyone wants to meet there?

 

@TheRealNips you absolutely deserve that trophy Tom.

The events organiser role is probably the most up and down rollercoaster ride role that any club can have.

Events people do not turn up to, events that you don't get told about until the last minute, events that have minimum club attendance figures that you feel embarrassed you can't guarantee.

But through it all, the sign you are doing a good job is that you keep finding events, making people aware, posting them up, and just keep on doing your best.

Was good to see you all there on Sunday too. Terrible weather but the drive home was nice!
