The "Second Edition" (marketing) cars got them along with leather seats, leather centre armrest and alcantara trim.

....Mine still work fine too - although they are just "on" or "off" unlike modern cars with multiple levels of heating 😄 

They warm my back nicely too, a little "deep heat" treatment for us oldies, on those achy mornings 😉

My first Zed was a 1991 UK-spec - that had leather but no heated seats.... And only the driver's was electric IIRC, whereas both are electric and heated in my current one!

My old uk 1994 didn’t have heated seats, had leather electric seats, alcantara trim 

Mine is 1992 uk leather no heated seats

This UK 300zx now getting a MOT. Looking great after a wash.
