With spring here its getting near that time the cover comes off. Watch this thread for more. updates as my Z gets ready for 2023. My ownership since 2010.

 

Today I taxed the Z took the cover off detached the trickle charge checked the fluids checked the tyres and started her up. Burst into life with a high rev which soon settled down. No heavy smoking from the exhausts so quick drive down to the BP garage for some fresh BP Ultimate then a blast down the road and home again. Love this car.

I always keep mine taxed and insured too - and whilst I try not to use it when the roads are covered in salt, the odd occasional trip out is not going to do it any harm......

Yes, we're all mindful of the long term damage - but most of us have had our cars undersealed - some have even rebuilt the vulnerable sections (like me) - so most of our Zeds are probably better protected than when they left the factory. It's not like we're using them daily this time of year. And we can always give them a clean before putting them back in the garage.. 😉 

Yep I’d never take it out in the wet well not intentionally anyway, like you say I drive it as and when I can otherwise it’s not healthy for the car laid up
