As some of you may have seen I was selling a laptop, it's now sold and I sent it to the buyer (Paul) last week and he still has not received it!!!

I mean over a week to deliver a special delivery, WTF!!

It was packaged neatly and the address written in capitals and it was more than legible.............

The post office is pants..............

And I'm feeling guilty as hell as the laptop has not got there yet.

Rant Over...........

Matty.

Was it recorded or registered delivery?

Hi Matty, btw. :D ;)

On the subject of ranting - I HATE bl@@dy trains !

Just squeezed onto Robin Hood Central train like sardines to go home; far more crowded than London underground when I've been on that. We were then told to get off the train as they were going to attach another carriage. Once we've been waiting for a few minutes for this fictitious carriage (and other people have got on the train from the other end) they tell us there is no carriage, by which time we can't all fit on the train again ! Then they want to check my ticket before I can leave the station to come back to work!!

EVERY train I've been on for the last month bar 1 has been late, some by up to 50 minutes and one nearly got derailed when we scraped along a dustbin lorry at a level crossing (a crossing which had already gone faulty once only a few weeks before; causing 3/4 hour delay then !)

Public transport - f@@king excellent !

Have you written and complained? There might be comensation in it for you with that many delays....

Probably NOT, but still.... ;)

Recorded special delivery, supposed to be next day but I thought it may be a few days at most!

But no, nothing with Paul yet.

Oh BIG HOWDY DOODY.........:p :D to you to Little Miss...

Matty.

Yeah, I do keep a record of all the delays etc.

Normally you can claim compensation if your train is more than half an hour late but because I'm a season ticket holder I just get a small amount back at the end of the year if I can prove there's been frequent delays.

I'm thinking that shouldn't be too hard !! :D

Would REALLY like a secure free car park at work !!!

Matty, can you get in touch please, emailed you yesterday - still waiting!:(

You got mail mate..............(pulling hair out)

I say again, the Post Office is pants.............

Luckily it's not damaged.

Matty.

i also had a tiff with parcel force?...i had arranged for a collection of 4 alloy wheels to be picked up between 12 noon and 2 pm....after i finished work....believe it or not they turned up early? when i was at work..........but they soon came back when the missus got on the phone and swore she would shove the wheels somewhere dark if they didnot return,as they were gathering dust in the hall...:D

Parcelforce are sh*t, left the targas I bought off AndyZ in someones porch 3 doors down, left £200 of power kites on my doorstep on a main road & yesterday they forged a signature from one of my family & the parcel was left on my doorstep again.

Gonna kick up some shit 2morrow cause that was a DKNY watch FFS W A N K E R S

i also had hassle when i bought some spares from andy zed but this was not andys fault at all, infact i was very pleased with andy...any way i eventually, caught up with the delivery driver who had the spares and i tracked him down to one of my local pubs? ...what can i say...

Matty have you input the delivery number on the internet to see where it is? If its longer than the promised day you can get compensation.

As for the trains. I am in the middle of buying a Corsa to drive to and from Uni.

It takes 35mins to get from my door to Uni carpark by car. I probably use £5 petrol there and back.

The train costs £7 return and takes over an hour.

The Government wants us not to use our cars, but it costs £2 more on the train than drive and it takes about 1 hour 20 mins to get there on an average day. Some times the train has been on time and has arrived on time, but I can count the times its been like that on 1 hand in 3 years.

The government, wants us to use public transport and leave our cars at home.

Lets list the good and bad things about each mode of transport.

Car:

Good:

About £5 petrol trip.

35 mins door to door.

I can leave when I want.

Warm.

Comfortable, gaurenteed a seat.

Safe.

Door to door traveling.

Bad:

Possible breakdown

Traffic.

Train:

Good:

Errrr, now............ I........... Ummmmm......

Yeah.........

I think that ummm.................

There has to be..............

I know........ No!......

I'll come back to it.

Bad:

I still have to drive to the train station.

More expensive.

Not gaurenteed a seat.

Have to work you time table with the trains. (Cant leave when you want)

Seats are made for people with abmormally small legs and un-natural back posture.

Trains full of drunks.

Trains full of wankers.

Trains full of childish school kids.

Trains have canceled mid way tranding me.

Trains dont allow any one on if its too full.

Trians dangerously packed.

Trains always late.

Have to stand up for an hour on the train.

Frightend to get phone or MP3 player out cos it gets stolen.

When I get off the train I still have 5 miles to go to get home.

Now where is the insentive for me to take the train?

Stuart
