Hi, CO2 and lambda fails and blue smoke! Engine full recon 12000 miles ago, turbos working perfectly, turbo gauges read ok! Lambda sensor or both at fault here I presume, but the blue smoke?? Turbos starting to go bad? 72000 miles on the clock.

Ok, when the cars are decated it can loose the back pressure and force oil through the turbo seals making them smoke. I would say the turbos need looking at as blue smoke is normally oil, white smoke is normally coolant

Ok thanks, only just read your reply, will get it on some diagnostics next week!

pcv valves going bad will cause blue smoke at tick over, they would be my first point to change, it does take 500 miles or so to clear the smoke after new valves
