Before anyone asks why the reason is because I want to and because I'm dumb.

I have 2 turbos from a mclaren that I wish to top mount. Does anyone know how the NA after market manifolds fit if they are mounted upside down and point towards the front?

My aim is to remove as much of piping from the intake side as possible.

I will be removing the ac and power stearing to do this as it's not required where I live and I have a plan for power steering.

My main question is does anyone have tubular na manifolds that they can put on upside down so I can see where they end up roughly?

Nah I have a turbo car at the moment.

I want to try to top mount and I be leave it may be easier to use the existing na tubular manifold than have one built from scratch. Alternatively if I do end up having to get one built at least I have the flange for the engine side already made.

I will be removing aircon and power steering to accommodate the exhaust from the turbos.

I was mostly hoping someone had a bare block and tubular na manifolds already out the car so I could see how they fit roughly.

I remember having a discussion with Luke from Z Centre about mounting turbos at the front quite a few years back now, he was planning to do it to his.

Might be worth giving him a shout as may be able to advise, not sure how far he got with it.

I’ve seen photos but it’s not often been done, as you’ve already realised there’s a fair chunk of stuff in the way. Half the battle is creating the space.

TBH if I was personally going to go down the custom turbo layout route I’d be going single.
