Having treated the old girl to new rear lights I’m considering changing the rear spoiler for OEM or something similar not quite sure and maybe remove the bottom defuser.

kind of go back to completely original? What you guys think ? I know a few Dont like the look of my rear ? but don’t worry you won’t  offend me I’m a big lad ☺️

Ditch the diaper. The 99-spec rear lights really sharpen it up. You know my feeling on the original spoilers (perfection). It's such a good example of a UK spec car, that it would be nice if the bodywork was returned to that as it was.

We all knew you would say that si you can’t go against the grain…but yes something I’ve been looking at for a while now just got to make my mind up I guess

When most have been modified over the years, going back to 'as originally intended' on a very rare car definitely is keeping one's individuality. ?

Yes your right nothing wrong with being different I agree it’s just being an age thing after 20 years of ownership you realise the Nissan guys got the lines right first time…it was nice to have a change for all them years but think it’s time to let go I guess ?

I went full-circle, I had a 99-spec rear spoiler on mine for years if you remember. Taking it off and going back to a genuine original was one of the best things I did. I was 100% happy once I'd refitted that.

I agree with your plans Graham, about time you spent some money on it as well ?.

We have talked about how bad your spoiler and diffuser is behind your back for years ?.

I have always like your black Zed Graham - but now you ask, I reckon it's a good time to revert to OEM+

It will make a mighty fine car even better.... Just IMO of course?

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Its your car, you do what you like... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so whatever you do, some will like it and some wont. At the end of the day its your car and if you want big spoilers and diffusers or you want oem parts fitting, you do that. We are all here to enjoy these cars in whatever state they are in. Besides if we all drove around in stock OEM Nissans, it might get a bit boring...

Strangely in photos your diffuser doesn't look the best, but I've seen your car at Jimmers a few times and it looks absolutely fine - not garish like Veilside kits etc. Go with whatever your gut tells you!? I reckon your spoiler and diffuser wouldn't work so well on a light coloured car but works on a black one just fine.
