So I was going to wait closer to the day I was ready to Purchase, but to be honest been going astray looking at GTO,s, Skylines, 200sx and Rx7's lol sorry. But to be honest found myself coming back to the 300zx, so decided to become a premium member to seal the deal lol. Like stated previously looking at purchasing around end of march next year only because I'll be away with work in a few weeks and don't want to purchase a car and leave it on my drive with know one to keep an eye on it.

I will be interested in a 90-91 manual TT in good condition with a few mods or standard doesn't matter, only reason I'm after this year it's because of the emissions last time i checked it was a no cat test for this year unless I'm willing to buy a later year as long as it can go through mot as non cat .So if anyone on here's thinking of parting with their car at some point might be a good idea to keep me in mind.

You can extend your search to anything first used before Aug 1995 because the 300ZX does not appear in the EGA database for emissions details. Refer attached screenshots from the current testing requirements emoji106.png

Thanks joely very useful information, you just made the search so much better ??

But if you do buy a later car, always bring those sheets to the MOT centre as they never know what needs to be done!

I've known my mot tester for years pretty sure he would go easy anyway, only time he will fail is if its a really serious safety risk and haven't got a fail on my daily car yet.
