Hi guys, can I use a 5mm slip on spacer on the rear with stock studs?
Not talking about the universal jobbies but the slip on hubcentric ones with the correct centre bore etc.

Hi Steve,

You won't get "proper" hub-centric spacers in 5mm, despite what advertising says. 5mm is too thin to have any centre bore - they will just be flat spacers, just like normal universal jobbies. The only centre bore you might have, is if your existing centre lip protrudes past the 5mm spacers.

That said, you'll still be OK with stock studs, providing you don't go thicker than 5mm.

That's why I decided to re-order a new pair of front wheels last year, when I discovered the flat spoke design would not clear my brakes.... :classic_wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
