So to help me list what parts go where I need to know the names of things. This way I can bag everything separately and label accordingly, making the rebuild a whole lot easier.

My first part is this water bottle?

And this bracket?

Thanks for your help.

Umm, only god knows. It was just meant to be the front bumper, to get that mesh off, and get the headlights out for a good clean.

However the more I see the more I want to do. I can see it ending with Jim getting my engine on a crate for a forge rebuild and the engine bay getting sprayed white before hosting an engine fitting party. :w00t: :sweatdrop:

Giving up on your search then?

I think so Andrew. It’s unlikely that even if I found a white one that the paint wouldn’t need a full respray among many other things. My car has such a strong base, it’s just seems to make sense to spray mine the colour i want. The only bug bear is that the VIN plate and log book won’t line up with the colour however I think you can change a log book and the white I go for probably won’t be OEM.

Isnt that the bracket for bolting the bumper side bracket to?

This cable is connected to the fog light front fascia support bar. Maybe an ambient temp sensor?

I’ve also got a random bolt next to the off side horn. Any ideas, maybe the OEM horn bracket required two bolts?

Thanks Simon.

While removing the above components I’ve found that one of the “nuts” just spins. Nothing that a set of mole grips can fix but I was wondering what these nuts are called and can they be replaced?

I’ve not seen a standard horn nor cover. Can anyone confirm please?

I believe the larger of the two coolers is the oil cooler. What is the smaller one for? The oil cooler looks to be in fare condition (however I may fit an updated one while I’m here if recommend) but the smaller cooler is showing its age.

The smaller cooler is the transmission oil cooler.

Also highly recommended that you replace the engine oil cooler with an upgraded unit, while you're at it.

Correction it is the Power steering cooler.

The engine oil cooler for UK specs (21305-37P00) is larger than the JDM and US cars. It is sold in the US as a Nismo part:

The power steering cooler is NLA.

Nor me, I do have some ready to fit but not a clue at the moment how they go on :confused1:.

I have a pic, post 345 in the below, you'll notice they have two bolt holes.
