Top : i recognise this but not sure where from, is it plastic or metal ?, and is it the same looking both sides ?

Bottom : Coil Pack connector

cheers jaikai, the top 1 is rubber and is about the size of an oil filter so racking my brain on wot ive had off the car and was thinking oil seal between gearbox and driveshaft maybe the little tunnel that the gearbox has and the driveshaft fits into, theres not much that size that ive took apart, engine was out not dismantled in anyway apart from turbo's removed so drivehsaft out and all vac pipes electrical connections etc removed and gearbox.

Whats the actual diameter of it ?

Both insde and outside That should give us a clue

The big one looks like an oil filter seal. I can't recall ever seeing anything like that otherwise. The little raised bits would grip the pressing in the filter, if it had been fitted without oil being wiped on the seal, it could have stuck to the oil tree when then filter was removed and then fallen off.

Don't think its from the oil filter Martin as the filter seal is not flat like that one.

This can depend on the filter manufacturer.
