My front left shock is leaking, its still running a stock setup and the car is in every day use. I've just spent a fair bit of money out on Bodywork so no budget left for this little issue! The garage that it was in with (a suspension specialist that was doing a four wheel alignment for me) said that best bet get after market coliovers all round which they could supply and fit at over £500! I have take the car away and said dont worry, I'm not spending that on it thats for sure! Whats the cheapest option along the lines of a fairly stock replacement as I cant seem to find anything listed online for it.

I'm not using it for track use or anything like that so not looking to make improvements on handling as such.

And I'd replace both if I were you.... Otherwise you might fell funny things happening as the other started to fail

Good job for turning down the coilover suspension that they offered you, chances are that you’d get the car back and hate the harshness of the ride as most of these kits are pretty brutal, especially the cheap ones!

I will mirror the sentiments before me and suggest buying OEM shocks and replacing them both. They’re one of the best quality you’ll find and should last another 30 years, fit and forget!

Just as a suggestion ,Conceptua on ebay who are Devon based sell KYB OEM equivalants at a keen price

:thumbup1:

The OEM Fronts are £300 for the pair with VAT and shipping from zcentre.

OEM equivalents from Conceptua at £190 a pair shipped : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Front-Gas-Shocks-Struts-Shock-Absorbers-For-Z32-300ZX-VG30DETT-4950/132475098216?hash=item1ed8219468:g:SmIAAOSwj1haYNXj&frcectupt=true

You can also try your Local Nissan dealer, often a cheaper option than Online retailers for the same OEM parts.

Supply and fit coilovers for £500-ish all round...?

Does not sound a bad price at first - but as said above, I'd have to question the build quality... And subsequent ride quality afterwards, at that price!!
