Hi can anyone recommend a insurance company hoping to put zed back on the road this year i was insured with footman James up until 2017 rang them for a quote £791 i was paying about £290 before for the same policy thanks Stephen

They used to be the best specialist car Insurance for the last 10 years and I’ve been with them all. I’ve now changed as there is a lot more competition out there offering better prices no need to stay with these guys no such thing as loyalty.

I’m another advocate for comparison sites, although I’m a meerkat kind of guy. I did use Lancaster when I first brought my 3rd 300zx but vowed to myself never to use them again after it took an hour of being moved from pillar to post, left on hold a number of times and the final price changing when it came to finally paying.

Admiral now offer classic policies - and you can combine them with your regular cars on a multi-car policy.....

 

They weren't the cheapest for my Zed, but going with them brought down the premiums on our daily drives. I insure the Zed (all mods declared), Julia's Evoque and my SLC43-AMG all for £800.

I done a compare the market i think I'm going to go with one of there's performance direct was a good price

£10 cheaper than last year Richard so well pleased. Also for Junes Lees and my daily car three green cards arived from Admiral for driving in Europe after Brexit....if it ever happens.

Yes i called yous i was quoted over £700

Reinsured mine today with performance direct again £156.62

 

I have just done the rounds with these guys and they offered me a much more competitive quote - sadly, the European cover portion of the policy would be 3rd party only, if that's not something that concerns Z32 owners, then these guys are great. For me, it's not ideal as I take my Z abroad at least once a year. Just something for people to think about if they do use theirs overseas.

Green cards are now being sent with all my insurance policys now for driving in Europe as we have just a land border to Europe (Sourthern Ireland)
