Anyone know what these are for?

The black ones seem to be in with the heating ducts wires, or nearby anyway, but can't see anywhere they'd plug into.

The white one, is the right one I have hold of.

Finally, there's a clutch switch. But there's no connector on my loom. I'm guessing this was due to it being a manual conversion in years gone by and that I don't need to care?

what series a zed is this ?

my loom area on mine is dismantled at the moment so i can go out shortly and compare my loom.

Is the lower picture not the connections for cruise and horn ?

They look very similar to what i have on my series 4, my cruise plugs into a stalk rather than on the steering

so they have separate connectors.

Morning mate.

This is my black car. The car was a series 2 and loom was moved over. So the cruise etc is in the steering wheel. Looks like the normal connections as far as I remember... unless I'm being daft which is entirely plausible

So the top plugs I'm sure are for the air vent sensors.

Not sure about the others as my loom doesn't have anything like that on it.

Thanks Lee.

Is it the little white sensors that go into the plastic air ducking? There's a couple of them in place already and plugged in (because I thought it was them at first too). As for where the wiring sits next the the steering column, could you send me a photo of how it Looks? It probably just in the wrong spot.

So I guess you have your black car back from Darren's now...?

Is there much still to be done Lee?

It is as Darren no longer has the garage. Needs a bit, but once I have all the bits (fee things missing), I dare say i'll be done pretty quickly. I'm working away in Halifax so only really have a Saturday sadly.

I will need to spray it again though sadly.

Glad it's back with you Lee - and very sad to hear you need to spray it again....

It's no bother mate. Just some colour variations really. You only see it whenever the sun hits so could easily get away with it, but I want to do it. Darren has offered to sort it but probably just as easy for me to do it... finger crossed and that.

Just going to get it all back together initially. Hopefully this weekend or next

Quick update in case anyone looks in the future.

The black plugs are for the air mix doors/motors. In particular these were the ones that go under the main heater box (2 plugs). In my case there were some others plugged in which a little cut off which was why I was struggling to find them.

The white plug is a strange one to me. Firstly the photo is the wrong one cos I'm rubbish. That connector was the one connected to the above mentioned loom. The other white connector is the same though!

My car had the cruise on the steering wheel. I managed to trace 2 of the wires though. 1 to the cruise pod and the other to the cruise control box (hidden up in the dash). So I'm thinking, could my loom maybe have 2 cruise plugs. What's stranger is that when I pulled out my old indicator stalk, it has a spot for this wire as well as the normal indicator black. So I've plugged it in there anyway as the stalk was the one from my original car that the loom came off. Once I get it up and running I'll test the cruise. I took a photo of the 2 stalks
