This year sees the 30th anniversary of the launch of the Z32 300zx.

 

Along with a number of other events celebrating this wonderful milestone and the Z car's 50th anniversary also this year, we are holding our 30th celebration in the grounds of The British Motor Museum in Gaydon on Sunday the 14th of July which has been chosen for this year's 300zx.co.uk Owners Club National meeting with a pre-event and AGM at the beautiful country Woodland Grange Hotel in Leamington Spa on the evening of Saturday 13th of July.

Saturday 13th of July

 

Arrive at Woodland Grange Hotel in Leamington Spa. http://www.woodlandgrange.com from 3 onwards. Group evening meal from around 6pm, a great chance to meet the club staff members and other likeminded enthusiasts with AGM for club members only at approximately 8pm.

Sunday 14th of July

 

0900/0930hrs: Depart Woodland Grange Hotel Leamington Spa in convoy to the British Motor Museum in Gaydon which is about 12 miles (20 minutes)

1000hrs: Cars arrive at display area

1230hrs: buffet lunch

1500hrs Prize giving (various category awards - to be announced)

1600hrs: Departure

 

Entry to the museum will be included with the option of full guided tours. There are cafe facilities serving hot and cold food and of course toilet facilities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This will be a lovely relaxed family-friendly set in nice surrounds. On behalf of the 300zx.co.uk owners club, we look forward to welcoming you to this event.

its just random Paul, and thanks for reminding me, as i had not got my own parking tickets sorted yet. i posted the link then forgot.

 

You can get a refund on them up to a week beforehand. Also, i think you get a free hot or soft drink with the parking ticket as well.

 

They have done it as they have been too busy a lot of the weekends and there is no parking outside.

Guys I've just spoken to the hotel it's the last day to book up the hotel for our allocation and price. So far only 7 people on the rooming list including myself. I've also had the following added who booked via other means, Joel, Gary, Richard and Craig. 11 in total.

 

So, if your name is down (for both days) and you're wanting to stay, go to the AGM and take part in the meal (to be booked/arranged), you'd better off calling the hotel ASAP and speaking with Katherine 01926310535 as rooms cannot be guaranteed thereafter.

I’m sad to say that I’m not going to make this. Substantial delays state side with my engine build mean I won’t get my engine delivered until a couple of days before the AGM, which simply doesn’t leave me enough time to have the car ready. As we only have one other car, I can’t leave the Mrs and the kids without transport for a weekend.

 

I’m going to push on and have the car back on the road for Simplt Japanese.

 

I’m super gutted about not being able to show those who voted for my car at COTY at the clubs AGM, especially given the 30 year anniversary.

It’s part of the reason. The money would also be better spent on finishing the car at the moment, aswell as saving my passport stamp for a car related overnighter for later in the year.
