Hi,

It’s probably been asked many times before but I’ve done a search and can’t find much.

I can’t get my eBay cable to work with conzult. The cable is installed and showing at working on my pc but I’m still getting error 2 unable to connect no matter what I do. I’ve tried using all the USB ports.

Anyone got any pointers?

I have a PLMS Cable from America and it had its own driver to work,Does the new lead you have not need one ?

Ah well the cd with the driver was broke in the bag.... Great. It seemed to install ok when first plugged in.

I’ll install Datascan and give that a go.

what is your cable model? you have to install the drivers that you find on the site nissan data scan, for the conzult software only the PLMS cable works, for the other cables you have to modify a protocol with FT prog

here is the method I used for my ECUTALK cable, given to me by Peter from ECUTALK

Here are steps to make it work.

> 1a). Install FTPROG - http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/Utilities/FT_Prog_v3.6.88.402%20Installer.exe

Cheers for that. I’ll take a look.

Haven’t had chance to look at it again yet.
