Looks good but we still have to pay for exhibition space. Need free car parking area.

They have all that available. I'm sure it'll cost a bit extra than Coventry, but if an awesome event is laid on for the 30th anniversary, I'm sure it'll attract more people and I am sure we can get one or other of the classic car magazines involved.

….plus maybe vendors could get involved. Maybe Jimmer, maybe the tuning company he uses. Maybe even a rolling road, a parade lap, BBQ. I am sure even a modest charge would help cover that. None of the shows in the US are laid on for free for example. Appreciate the market is different and so is the ownership base, but for the 30th anniversary, wouldn't it be awesome to have a big event with various things on to draw people in. Maybe even open it up to the ZClub also.

I think Z club is going for Silverstone as its there 50th Anniversary plus its for all the Z clubs but we need one for the z32. Can you price what the exhibition space would be for Rockingham Si.

Nice one Si we need the club working together on this one.

I’ve already prewarned a couple of magazines that we will be having an anniversary meet and they were both very keen to run a feature. It would be nice to open it up to the other anniversary models too. 50 years of the 240Z 30 years of the 300ZX, 20 years of the 350Z and 10 years of the 370Z, a celebration like that is screaming for a line up of these cars!

We did discuss the 30th anniversary event at the AGM; so are definitely open to suggestions. As convenient as Coventry is, I also think we need to do something different - if only just to attract more interest. :thumbup:

That would be good Steve lets see what price they give Simon and new 30th decals like the one above would also be a big help. Also I see you are a pro with the camera so your help would be a big advantage mate.

I live a few miles from Rockingham, so if you want me to do anything let me know ( I am also a procurement manager so used to negotiating contracts etc).

 

My father-in-law may still be a Trustee at Silverstone, so I am speaking to him about what they could do for us. He is also a member of the British Racing Drivers Club.

While my friend doesn't have 'an in' with Nissan UK...he thinks there could be some support from the larger Nissan dealerships...but would like some more information regarding the type of events proposed.

It would be nice if Nissan UK could help out in some way Gary and Z club have a thread going on the big 50 which all the Z clubs are invited to join in ( I am watching it for updates). Getting a venue for us is the most important step for us now then we can build around it.

That logo would really look good in a semi- transparent format that could go on one of the windows front rear or quarter. A small subtle option?

Not if you want a decal on the inside of the window. Getting a sticker company for this particular one might be a better idea, mine are external only.
