Anyone else making the most of this lovely summer evening and empty roads?

Unfortunately for me the roads up here are really busy, not sure why!

i might wash my car ready for the weekend as its covered in dust, maybe a polish as well if i get time

Like many millions of others I will be watching some more footie tonite.

It’s not my thing but it’s nice to see people enjoying themselves and being proud to be English. Be nice if the lads won, it’s a once in a lifetime thing and god knows our nation could do with a win right now.

Yup - whilst I have no interest in the football, and certainly am not watching it, I do still appreciate the feeling of national pride it's giving. Hell, all we hear in the news is doom and gloom (sounds like a song...:lol:) so a little optimism goes a long way.

 

As for going out for a drive this evening.... I have to say that I would fail a breath test, so not such a good idea:oops: A nice bottle of white rioja to wash down the paella I prepared earlier, not to mention the San Miguel whilst cooking, would sadly render me unfit to drive until tomorrow....:wink:

 

And instead of the football, Julia & I have been watching an old episode of Lois and Clark... And now I'm on here, for shits and giggles.....:cool:
