When brand new 99-spec rear lights cost £300 delivered.

When I bought this, I picked it up from a dealer whilst I was in California (brand new OEM gear shifter), I paid, with discount the sum total of 50 bucks, this was at a time when the US to Pound ratio was 2:1, so essentially, this cost me £25.

They're over £120 now I believe, that's an increase of 480%.

Smithy was a great trader, sad he left the fore to be honest, his knowledge and business ethics were tops, still have the odd word on face book but long gone are the days of his 300zx involvement, his shiny under bonnet parts were copied by a some thieves after he did all of the ground work...

Yeah he was a good honest guy, one of the few traders who everyone liked at a time when we were plagued by substandard folk like SWZ, ZEDTECH and I think even Chris@Getgreddy went off the rails too from memory.

He was a really nice guy in person too. I remember a Zedworld Christmas bash I think it was about, 12 or 13 years ago he brought he's car over from the IoM, I think he had some work done didn't he? My memory is failing me!

Ingredients for a slanging treacle pie....

Start talking about the "good old days"..

pour into the bowl and let sit..

Mix in 3 heap spoons of members ripped off in the past and add salt..

Have halt a pint of old members who cant defend themselves and whip up untill creamy..

Add 3 whole pieces of bored portugal residents who are waiting at the starting gate for a green light to go go go...

Then slowly pour into the mix Funky Si and at the same time keep adding "likes" to everything he says...

Let sit for another day and serve with iced tea...
