Hi all, I recently had my 300ZX smoke tested, it appears that the Recirc valves themselves are leaking, (not the pipes which they connect to) so, my question is ,can these be reconditioned, if so how ? , and where do I get the necessary parts ?, I do not get the noise described as goose honk, Or are there any companies that will re con the valves and properly test them ?

Unfortunately the OEM recirculation valves are not serviceable and are NLA from Nissan. Specialty-Z in the US

sells an aftermarket replacement:

That’s just the GHK kit Jeff, if the seals are perished and leaking from the body in a smoke test, they won’t help.

Also worth noting that although the inlet and outlet size of the GFB recircs are the same as OEM, the position of the ports is different so you will need to use some silicon hoses to adapt them.

bloody hell, these things are 150 quid EACH,

Anybody help with Alternatives ? looked at Ebay and there seem to be a lot of Re circulation Valves with 25 mm ports, Or should I simply fit dump valves, ??

I fitted a pair of Bailey DV26 I believe, atmospheric dump valves. Not a perfect solution and it makes simon crawl out from under his bridge, but did it.

Anybody know if Re circ valves from any other Vehicle could be fitted ???

Anyone know what size the inlet an outlets need to be , im not sure 25mm is correct?

I’ve got a pair in the shed mate. If I get time tomorrow il measure them but iirc the inlet and outlet are different diameters.

My apologies, for the GFB installation in a Z32 the correct part is T9135 with 35mm inlet and 30mm outlet (in my posts above SZ link

is for the correct part whilst the product and installation instructions I posted were for the T9125).
