Some people reported it here yes, although I didn't notice anything.

Nothing here, 4.9 is a decent earthquake isn't it, because Richters are like decibels.

Yeah.

I was in Crete many years ago when a small earthquake started. It lasted a few seconds with our ceiling lights swinging about but the locals paid no attention to it.

I remember a real bed shaker here about 30 years ago...been in many minors in California and its the norm there..Never felt todays though Gary but many did in my area too which is strange:ohmy:

Ive been outside laying a patio all day & didn't feel a thing. Plus my patio is still level.... ish.

Did not feel anything in Milton Keynes, reports said from Cornwall to Blackpool.

 

Had a couple in Portugal and they often are preceeded by a large bang sound.. one last year made the swimming pool water slosh from one end to the other !!

Nope - not a thing here.....!

I was driving at the time. Wouldn't have noticed a thing in the Merc anyway. A few of my mates felt the tremors locally, but it's not like a 7.9!
