Hi, thought I should start a new thread, and try and collate all the various work that the car has had since my 9 years of ownership. I cannot believe its been 9 years! and finally my Zed is going to get the respray she deserves.

I have spent the last few weeks deliberating on what colour to go for, and have decided to stick with red. At the moment that's as far as its got though, the shortlist of reds is still at 4/5 options, so more pouring over photos and visiting the odd showroom to help with the decision process. Many thanks to those of you who supplied photos and information on colours, wheels etc.

I will add some key previous threads to this post, along with photos of the stripping of the car and its subsequent paint job. I cannot wait for the beginning of February when the car is due to be transported to Kraftwork.

As we know the OEM temperature gauge isn't the most accurate gauge going, and having more than just a 'light' tune and have a previous engine head gasket let go, I have always been very conscious of the engine temps.

So i have fitted a SPA Gauge which gives me both an accurate reading, and programmable high/low alarms that i can set. THe gauge also has a Volt meter, which is a 'nice to have' option. I have fitted it for now infront of the OEM temp gauge. Come the winter however I will move it somewhere else more fitting, as there wasn't a massive choice in suitable 50mm gauge pod/holders.

I have a single gauge A pillar pod which you’re welcome to have FOC Howard. It was fitted in my last 300 and IMO was very subtle, the only issue I had with it was that it looked plastic. I intended to wrap it in leather but didn’t get round to it. PM me if you want it.

As some of the members on here know, back in the Summer, whilst I was at the Simply Japanese event at Beaulieu. I was approached by the editor of Japanese Performance magazine, and asked if I would like the car featured in the magazine in the forthcoming months.

Today I received a nice surprise, the car feature published for the January issue.

I am not leaving the Nissan fold altogether, as I have a new project (Datsun 240Z) on its way from 'down under', and will be a regular visitor to the Z Club 'orange site'.
