Hi Trish hope you are keeping well and it is good to hear from you but sorry you feel wronged. When your subscription runs out you are switched to registered user automatically by the forum software its not something that the Committee decide to do on purpose. I remember you buying food for the BBQ at JAE and thought you had got any money owned to you. But if you havent asked for this money then we cant be held responsible for not giving it to you. Please let us know what is owned to you and we will of course send the funds to you.

sorry Trish, but as Gary said, the subscriptions system is all automatic.

committee only get involved if something goes wrong or payment is not done through paypal.

 

i am also sorry and saddened that your first thought was a negative one, that it was done deliberately, and that you felt the need to attack us, rather than enquire what has happened. :(

I'd like to note that on that day now nearly two years ago I was the first committee member onsite.

 

I do admit that on that weekend it was the most unorganised event that we have ever held as we never had an NEO to take care

of planning, also that we have not officially sponsored JAE since then but we have still booked our plot for members whishing to go.

 

I clearly remember meeting yourself and your son whom we borrowed the lightening equipment from as we had a mix up with the lights

ordered from the JAE organisers and were left in the dark.

 

I held the funds also for that day and had cash readily available but I do not recall once been asked for any of it.

 

I did not specifically hold it back on purpose as we had purchased our own products for the BBQ.

 

I am like the other committee members sorry for you being let down on this but why has it taken two years to come forward when you

could have simply PM'd any one of the committee or posted a thread on the subject with kinder words than you have done today.

 

Your membership status was automatically changed back at midnight on the 18th of July when your paid subscription ended.

 

You must have known that's how the process works by now since you have had a registration with the club since 2003.

 

I've no idea what this sudden outburst is about but I hope it can be resolved.

In that year it was still a fully sponsored/supported Club event

When we arrived there was a tent........................nothing else hence my son came from his stand and set up lights

Saturday I went shopping Tesco and a local butcher, with permission, all receipts given to Committee member

@ Gary I gave you all receipts, we had discussion later as regards my bank account being in euro rather than gbp

@ Craig there was no attack, while systems are automated they can be adjusted, being in business if you submit correct receipts you expect to be paid, not to have to enquie??? @JaiKai, If you had Club cash how is anybody supposed to know?? If you had purchased your own products for the BBQ surely they were yours,

it is not a sudden outburst but rather being extremely upset when I logged on and could not send a private message about this as I was a registered user. why did it take me 2 years Lee?? because in the last year I was taking care of my husband who died in July.

All your excuses a Club/System/Programme is controlled by moderators and can be modified, not a begger, I bought for this club, I gave receipts, everything that was left over was given to members, so just a bit of respect

Trish, I completely echo what Gary has said. Sadly 2015 is a distant memory for many of us today; but that is in no way an excuse from me or anyone else!

 

If you could please remind either Gary or me of the sum involved, then you will be reimbursed from the club right away. All I require, is an email from yourself, just to support the payment in our financial records. Oh, and your bank/paypal details in order for us to make payment!

 

On behalf of the club, we certainly thank you for stepping in at JAE 2015, when we ran short of supplies - and I will keep to my word above.

 

The issue regarding your membership is, however, a separate matter; as my fellow committee have said, it's all down to the forum software itself. Whilst I remain true to my promise, it will remain up to you, to organise your membership renewal, once you have been reimbursed for your outlay at JAE 2015.
