Looks like a decent car. Listening to the “chatter” at the Classic Motor Show over this weekend, it must sell because everyone wants to buy a 300ZX, many not believing me when I say you purchase one for sub 20k! It seems now that every year, someone pushes the desirable button in a bit further on these cars and they jump up a notch.

I’ve never really been too bothered about the values of these cars, it’s just been a nice to know but nevertheless, I’m now convinced that we aren’t far away from being swept along in this bubble of desirability and I also believe that a UK car (particularly a manual) will be the one that commands the biggest price tag.

Agree

Is this not the same company who have that cat C car listed with over 200k miles and the really bad looking MOT advisory history?

Holy smokes anyone checked out that garage ?? used to be a limited company who got compulsory struck off 4 years ago, and their present location sits next to Coparts Salvage yard  given that previous cat c car, then good guess where it came from, and how annoying is that dealers cover number plates in adverts more and more now...that is just to hide the MOT history.

That all said, in the pictures at least that black zed sits really nice and depending on the condition underneath and history it looks promising.

Im sure that black car is the one I went to view a few months ago in west sussex. It was imported into the uk 11 years ago, but was never registered for some reason. It was in pretty good nick, had a misfire and smoked a lot, but it hadn't been started for years. I made him an offer, but he said the wife of the guy that owned it (he died and she was selling all his cars) was sending it to a charity to turn it into a track day car. It had done 40k KM or something really low. it just needed registering, an mot and the misfire sorting. The engine bay was spotless. He was selling a red one at the same time, I saw that one too, it had gone very very pink

1990 Black MT NA LWB = 2014 - 2020 (Sold)

1991 Red MT TT LWB = 2015 - 2017 (Stripped & Scrapped)

I saw this the other day too - and yes, I also noticed it was at the same dealers as the blue, 225k mile cat c car!!

Great find on the MOT history Andrew; I do also tend to agree with Jeff, that the trend of hiding reg numbers in for sale adverts could be a blatant attempt to hide a cars' history from prospective buyers; who might otherwise not bother to view. That, or people are paranoid about number-plate cloning...!!

But on the face of it, this looks a pretty good buy!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
