haven't been on in a while and infact I don't own my widebody any more, I sold this a couple of years back now to a gent that I believe really abused it sadly.

I saw it just before Christmas on eBay looking very sorry for itself up in Windermere and I would have happily bought it back but the new owner was wanting way to much for the issues it now has. Just thought I'd come on to see if anyone knows what happened to it, I spent a lot of money getting it right and its a shame it was so badly abused after I owned it.

Its reg was M550OGS and this is one of the last pictures I have of her

spoken to him this weekend, i've decided to let it go its just too far gone to rescue I think.

I can see it being broken by the person interested in buying it either way I don't think its financially viable to rescue

Resurrecting this topic.

I have the car at this moment in time and have had it sent to Powerzed to start the process of getting it back on the road. I know there is a lot of work required but this was one of my favourite looking Z's and it would be a shame to let it go to waste.

I have found replacement body panels and it will be getting a new front bumper too once all the rust is sorted out.

Wheels are to be refurbished and with regards to the electrics we will most likely be getting a new loom(s).

Jimmer is going to get it started first and see where we stand with the engine and will take it from there.

Wish me luck ?

Thank you Gaz 300. Really am looking forward to seeing what the next few updates will reveal about the car. She came with one of the most impressive documents/history files I have seen despite the condition of the car. For each year there was work done on the car or an MOT there is plastic wallet with the year identifier and the corresponding documents inside. It even has the original "New Vehicle Contract Acceptance" from Jessops Nissan in Dunstable in 1994. I can't believe someone let this car fall into such a condition.

Well worth saving this car, I nearly bought it myself a couple of years ago, its in safe hands and Jimmers body guy will have it rust free in 2 shakes of a monkeys tail.

I agree - and getting it to Sir Jimmer is just what the doctor ordered....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Definitely and as you say it is in the right hands finally. Don't know why it never wet to Jimmer in the first place. Having said that, the anticipation is killing me. I want to know how good or bad the situation is so I can a gauge when the car will be ready for its road trips across the UK and hopefully mainland Europe!

Thanks mate,

I'll be looking to create diary of sorts with the updates from Jimmer along the way  ?
