haven't been on in a while and infact I don't own my widebody any more, I sold this a couple of years back now to a gent that I believe really abused it sadly.

I saw it just before Christmas on eBay looking very sorry for itself up in Windermere and I would have happily bought it back but the new owner was wanting way to much for the issues it now has. Just thought I'd come on to see if anyone knows what happened to it, I spent a lot of money getting it right and its a shame it was so badly abused after I owned it.

Its reg was M550OGS and this is one of the last pictures I have of her

I'd love another tbh I regret selling the last one I just didn't have the time to spend on it as it was my daily driver.

After seeing how its been looked after I wish I had kept it, the lad I sold it to said he was going to do all sorts but it looks like he was a bit of a dreamer and its just been abused.

So sad

I remember this for sale on Facebook, was overpriced like you said. I spoke to Ian Greenfield about it he might know who has it now. Nice looking Zed, needed welding, quite a bit if I remember correctly

  • Author

yeah when it left me it needed a bit of welding at the back of the sills and it had a top end rattle.

Sounds like it was driven till the engine was dead then it got an engine transplant and a gearbox change but no welding. Last I saw of it the subframe mounts were shot plus the body kit was all cracked up like someone had hit a bollard. I spoke to the owner and he said he had just got it and the previous owner (the guy that got it from me) had hit a pot hole (yeah ok)

Anyway he was asking 5k which was far far too much basede on the fact it needed a new set of rear quarters (bodykit) and a shed load of welding. Plus it just looked rough which is shocking saying I had almost repainted the full car!

Yeah, was for sale a couple of weeks back on the nismo page on Facebook I believe as I was talking to Chris the early owner about it.

she looked mint when I got rid of her and she ran great (other than some tappet rattle), when I bought her she was rough was hell. I ended up respraying the front (twice), back end, drivers side. I had the wheels refurbished, cleaned up all the interior. Changed the back lights back to a more stock look, changed all the suspension as all the rose joints were shot and a full brand new stainless exhaust from the turbos back.

I think I spent about £3k on it to clean it up, absolute waste when I saw it on ebay

should be good to look her over in the next few days and with any luck i'll bring her home to be rebuilt back to a good standard

Would be good to have another wide arch in the club :cool3:

I've heard she's not in a good state but I hope you get a good deal & bring her back to her former glory

Seen it in the flesh recently...

But saying that if I hadn't of bought two more zeds I would of took this on...BUT...you definitely have to buy it at the right price....she needs some work.

Is it really that bad :(

Well may have a look if nothing else just to see how the old girl is these days such a shame

Just looked at this WTF! Front end bash?

Good looking Z been abused by the look of it! Shame.

Fast boy racer ragged it!

Sad to see a before and after pic. Definitely needs a new owner to give it some TLC. Agree with bigh though, would be good to see another wide arch.
