Cylinder heads (pair) with working valves (NA)

Hi,

I'm looking for a pair of cylinder heads, intact with working valves, basically ready to swap out my current heads.

I don't know if TT and NA are different, but I have an NA.

I'll need them shipped to Newcastle.

Cheers!

TT has slightly bigger ports, but the auto TT cam's are slightly milder. I believe TT heads will bolt straight on, but there isn't a sizeable difference.

TTs are a lower compression, this is partly down to piston design, but also down to chamber design. I wouldn't fit TT heads on an NA you'll likely lower the compression ratio.

Not 100% sure, so don't take that as gospel, but it's something to be mindful of

Not heard that one very much. I will have to check when I have the TT and NA heads side by side. I wonder if raising the compression 'slightly' on a TT would be beneficial.

Nice edit that last bit in [emoji38]

I have a pair sitting here. Came off my old engine. As far as I know everything is intact. Were working fine when removed.

Just get NA ones, TT ones have different valves one one side to handle the heat. The cam profile is only different between auto and manual TT, NA heads do not vary cam profile. Be cautious that the NA heads changed to new spec earlier than TT heads, these new spec heads will be stamped 10Y and will not be compatible with an old style (30P) lower plenum. I have heard conflicting reports on the cylinder head casting being different between NA and TT. Some good information here;

It's a new one on me.

Yup, ignore that, I was thinking of something different. The heads are slightly different but interchangeable.

Hey, that's excellent, but would you be willing to post? Alternatively I can arrange something if you can give me an idea if the weight.

Lol - I've done my share of miles this year! Thanks for the offer but kgonzokia has come back to me and is posting out next week. This weekend will be pulling mine off...be interesting to see what I find.

Cheers :)
