I'd be surprised. Speak to Mike Feeney and see if he's able to locate one somehow.

Got that already Jeff, thanks.

But what colour is that ? dark grey or black ?

I would like the black thicker carpet i used to have along with the thicker boot carpet.

My last one succumbed to dampness and had to throw it out because of the smell.

The carpet in my 96TT is of much poorer quaility and is a grey colour.

Aparently not in stock.

Dear Mr Young,

Thanks for your enquiry, I'm afraid that part is currently out of stock and unavailable. It may have appeared on our site because of a mistake in the manufacturer stock file, or because we have recently sold out of that item. Sorry I can't be more helpful on this occasion. If I can help with any other parts enquiries for Genuine VW Group, Toyota, Ford, Renault, Nissan, or MG Rover, please just ask.

Kind regards,

Mike

shame not in stock as i was looking a new wan for the vert that has a a hole in drivers footwell heel pad in beige.

I looked a while ago for my vert czp didn’t have one and looked on line rocking horse shit I think .

I did come across two but have pattern for swb but wouldn’t fit convertible they said I thought there was lwb and swb

I was of the impression that the convertible floor was the same as the SWB.

Me too - sure, the 'vert's chassis may have more strengthening material, but I believed them to be otherwise the same as well.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Getting a LHD one would be no good too as you'd have a foot plate. JDM ones didn't get them, but Euro and US models did. If you can't get it out of Japan then you may end up with the wrong carpet if you buy from the US.

thats what i was thinking, maybe wrong now that you have mentioned it, my other option was a carpet shop a lot of steam to mould the carpet and they could stitch the flap at the ecu part in passenger footwell..

I thought but when I asked they said it won’t fit convertible so a bit confusing because I had a slicktop and seams the same

Which foot plate do you mean?

Maybe it's a different fabric/colour but would actually fit? Convertibles (mostly?) had specific interiors, e.g. door liners which would probably fit other models.
