The old AC unit has been sitting, almost redundant, in the cupboard under the stairs for most of the (many) years since I bought it....

 

.....However, it's only June and the ambient temp is pushing 30 degrees, so I decided to dust the old box down and lug the damn thing upstairs. Good call, methinks... I might actually sleep tonight!!!

Its a bit cooler in Belfast Rich but still warm. We have a big fan if it gets to warm :sweatdrop:

32c here today, no wind. Even indoors it hit 26.7 and 65% humidity. Swear central.

I love the warm summer days - but have to agree Bri...! Hot and humid is pants; way too oppressive!!

 

Still, even if I only use the AC for a couple more days, at least I have made the effort to carry it upstairs now, so it can stay there until September....:lol:

Richard it looks like you might have to turn the cooler into a bed side table:biggrin: woke up this morning to normal British summer time and by 9.30am i was soaking wet and shivering on the job site:lol:
