Not really as any plastic will more than likely melt from the process of being baked.

I have seen them been done, but advised to remove the baffles first.

It looks aball ache to remove i thought they could be tape up with gaffer tape before Blasting an Coating

I had some motorcycle parts powder coated before i think they just cover the bits that didn't need Coating with masking tape

Its usually a type of tin tape, but as its metal it can withstand the 800+ degrees that the oven puts out.

Any sort of paper or plastic will be incinerated. :(

Masking tape is just fine. It doesnt get incinerated. I used to use it all the time.

Im not sure about the glue/mastic stuff holding the plate on??

I just painted mine .Easier...cheaper.

Thanks I've got some motorcycle parts i got to get powder coated so i was going to get them done at the same time anyone remove the baffle plate before

Just bolt the exhaust and intake valve covers together with a piece of wood/triplex sandwiched in between the 2 covers (hope this makes sense, as I don't have a picture) and have it powder coated that way.

Works fine and I've had numerous covers powder-coated that way.

....unless you want each cover in a different color ?

My school does it at 200C

Which is still enough to melt certain plastics but not all
