I'm having a mare removing the rear bumper, so far I've removed the 6 plastic clips at the bottom of the bumper, tried taking out the 2 internal bolts behind the boot trim and the one in the arch. On both sides this is stuck:

I can't see that keeping it in place, although advice on how to get them off would be appreciated!

Can anyone provide me a step by step guide please?

Cheers

James

There are more than 2 behind the boot trim inside and i'm sure there are two each side accessed from inside in the arch, bit difficult these and one behind the wheel and don't forget the number plate lift up thingy.

All from memory.

If you do a search there's a thread from Mark Derby at Automodz asking the same question, think there's pictures with the answer.

You need to remove all your boot trims as the bumper is bolted all the way around from inside, bolts go downwards into the metal plates which are attached inside the bumper skin, couple of fixings behind the wheels in the arch and at the bottom edge of the bumper facing the floor, remove your reg plate and lift up the bracket.

I've taken these out but you say there are more?

There are about 8 studs running along the back, so they all have to come off? I'll search for the Automodz thread.

Yeah 1 screws from under arch side and 2 bolts each side, number plate bracket may also be in way, 10 ( I think) nuts along back under boot trim, clips on underside don't forget number plate lamp harness,
