Was looking at the official dealer japanese catalog today when I grabbed one in Okinawa and I´m a bit confused. Was there an option on the 98-2000 models where you could choose the veige leather seats with red stitth in them? or did I dreamed that..

I think I saw this somewhere years back.

Late version S featured these seats but they're not leather.

Assuming you mean beige leather, yes that was an option on 300ZX trim but I don't think there's any red stitching.

Probably I saw this on interior innovations

why does the 99 spec have a red stitched gear knob ?

 

Or is this aftermarket too...

 

Only for the version R, to match the steering wheel.

 

What I don't get is why they put these with blue seats, while the version S got red seats.
