I know this is going to pain some people's eyes but I couldn't help think about smoothing the tailgate onto the body and making a small trunk opening.

Does anyone share my curiosity or am I alone with this thought?

Certainly different.

I'll give it a Photoshop when I get home.

You're probably alone there and it would look odd as the window lines carry all the way to the back.

There would be a huge amount of work to reconstruct the tailgate to maintain its rigidity in order for the glass not to pop.

I don't see any benefit from either from a practical point of view or a styling point of view.

Maybe I'll have to make one then to prove you all wrong :shifty:

Didn't think it was a Zed.

Thought I recognised the door and roof line a bit, but you guys are right it's an s15.

My reaction would be similar to what happens when the Nazis open the Ark of the Covenant in Indiana Jones

Looks like Glupe on wheels! not a single balance proportion, at least at that angle. To be honest I don't think the S15's kit is that bad, overly fussy on the skirt lines and a bit Fiat coupe!!! on the body line, but with better execution it would be halfway to a good fit!

The issue I have with the Z32 and possibly why many of us look at wide arse kits, is the girl has no hips!, particularly given the flared arches on the front end. The LWB the fuel cap always comes into play and I hate the bolt on arches as a quick alternative. The best solution in my eyes is a good panel beater to pull the panel over the natural arch line whilst keeping the original outside shape.. I'm still tempted to have a go on mine seeing as nobody wants it...Lol!

it does look a little odd like here is mine from the same angle and in red to look at your pic then look at my pic speaks for it self

Such a shame the cars no more Dan, aside the pipes, it was a lovely example.

Where did the rear arches come from again? When mine go rusty (because they are mild steel and outtside) I think il go this way.

Bare in mind the photo is a SWB as opposed to your LWB...doesn't change my opinion on it however.

No

Yes .

Same here, if I'm honest......

......And whilst you might actually get it to look good (I said "might"), you'd be spending an absolute fortune, for no real purpose or gain!

Save the money - or spend it on something that will be of a real benefit:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
