i've seen people advertising 350z on auto trader for 37k, but i bet you could import for miles cheaper!

cheers

steve

Mmmmm! I was hoping for about 27K!

LOL only $30000 more expensive than the states then  I hate the way we get ripped off over here

I dont know Andy pills are cheaper!! :D ;) :D

Hmmm bet weed is more expensive though :D

Big Roy ........ your wish is granted, my man.......page 185 of January 2003 edition of 'Car' magazine.......Intercar International Limited (Tel 02082033399) advertising 'The New Nissan 350Z'....from £27,000.

Quoted as 'fully UK compliant' and 'available exclusively through Intercar International now'.

The ad also says to ask for Simon Lerner...and yes, I'd love a ride if you get one!

I am pretty sure Nissan will sell them in the UK after a while so it may pay you to wait a while. They intend to keep the price down as well to compete with the MR2 range. but that remains to be seen ;)

Roy,

Funnily enough, after reading your post yesterday, I got some unexpected mail from prospec motorsport, asking me if I wanted to buy the 350 they have in stock:D

I'd post the details, but my fecking e-mail server is down, so I can't - however, it's roughly as follows:

Silver 350Z ST model - 6 speed manual in silver with tan leather interior, plus all the usual goodies - hmm, nice!:)

The only downside is the price tag - 31k:eek:

I mailed them back asking for a viewing, and the car is indeed viewable, should you wish to nip down to Southampton.

I was initially quite keen, but a) I don't think I can afford it right now (surprise surprise:D ) and b) I think I agree with Paulg, in that Nissan are going to bring them over here next October.

In that case, I'm a bit worried that a premium-priced import (they reckon they'll be 27-ish K here), will then drop like a stone once they're available here:( Potential loss is large, I should think.

If you want more details, then you can view Prospec's website at http://prospec-ms.co.uk.

CheerZ,

John.

On Top Gear Sunday they reckoned that the 350z will be the hottest thing next year (along with the Z4 and Beetle Cabriolet) and mentioned it would be priced around £22k. Can't see that it will be that cheap!! I reckon around £26K-£30k seems about right.
