Avid(!) readers of my build thread will know that I have had to give up saving my TT due to too much rust and not enough money. Therefore I'm having to break the poor thing :crying:

 

Ill be keeping everything for a manual conversion (Gearbox, clutch etc) as my next plan is to import a clean one from Japan as I never want to see corrosion again...even just the word sends me into hysterics and I need a paperbag :lol:

 

All money raised from selling parts will be sent to the "Tom needs a 300zx TT from Japan Charity". Its a good cause as I'm sure you will agree and I hope we can raise a lot!

 

Condition of parts change depending on what they are. Some are good, Some are ok, Some will need work, others will go straight in the bin if no-one wants them. Ill be listing them on ebay soon too, but will give everyone here first chance.

 

Some parts are already off the car (busy day on Friday and Saturday!)

 

Normal dib rules apply, first to post gets first dibs, no arguments please!

1) TT Radiator

2) Bootlid Centre Trim (no Hooks)

3) Boot Trim Centre (no Screws)

4) Boot carpet (looks ok, just needs a good scrub)

5) Indicator Stalk (Spares as it works, but when flashing high beam, didnt always return to dipped beam and had to be flashed again. Didnt bother me while in use)

6) Boot Trim Corners

7) Lower Front Brace Arm

8) Centre Console Lid (Ideal for a re-trim idea)

9) Ashtray

10) Clock (Was working when removed from car 4 months ago, been on shelf since. Cant test it)

11) Hazard Switch (working, removed yesterday)

12) Nose Panel (Indented Nissan badge, love this, but has to go)

13) Front Corner Fake(?) indicators smoked-ish (They look like the indicators on my NA import, but they have blanks over where the bulb holder would go.)

14) Front Indicators

16) Front and back Seats (not bad, drivers isnt great. Ideal for a re-trim idea)

17) Drivers door (paint is good, mirror a bit faded, mirror electrics work, window motor (or wiring) doesnt work.

18) O/S (Drivers) Wing (Will need a repaint)

19) Front bumper (Need fixing and repaint)

20) Back bumper (I think one of the bolt holes for attaching it has been torn and the "Yuk Fu" will need to come off, but is ok)

Sorry to year this! Must be devastating - but congrats for not giving up entirely, there are some beautiful ones coming in from Japan!

 

Did the drivers electric window work? My motor/servo/whatever it is has packed up (had to slam the door to get it to jolt into life for a while, but now it is completely dead) So I am after that, and then also a driver side door barrel lock plastic clip thing (think it is the yellow bit) as my barrell just turns and turn on the key and I am getting bored of opening it from the passenger side :D

Sorry to see this Tom - but sometimes it is more economical (both in time and money) to call it a day and move on to a new one! At least you'll be getting another...:clover:

 

And whilst not wanting to appear a vulture, is the steering wheel available; what condition it is in, and how much? I'm not fussed about the centre pad as mine is A1, but I'd be interested in the wheel, if the rim is good. Or if bad, I'm sure we can do a deal - as I can always arrange a Mondo re-trim:cool:

What sort of condition is the bonnet paint like? I might be able to blag a local pick up my head office is hailsham.

Also, what are the windscreen wipers and scuttle panel like? Mine are horrible!

Drivers Door window didnt wor, but never got round to finding out why. It could be the motor or the electrics. I can pull the motor/servo/whatever out for you. The plastic clip too.

Wheel was in good condition, rim has slight damage near the top, ill pop up and get some pictures for you

Radiator isnt actually off the car, its one I bought from someone on this forum to fix my one. Its still wrapped up from being sent to me. I can unwrap for pictures if you wish

I think I do, ill go up there tonight and check. I havea feeling the screw/bolt holes might be damaged as the screws were rusted in, but ill take some pictures for you.

Left pod is in the bin as the screwholes were broken. The right hand pod is still on the car, ill take it off tonight. Is it just the pod you want or the cruise controls too?

As stated above, the clock was working when removed from car about 4 months ago, I cant test it now however. The bumper had the uk indicators and some "fake" light/reflectors in it. They are pictures above. I can sell you them all together if you wish. I am based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

I only have the back of the right pod. The left one had broken screwholes so was useless and binned. Make me an offer if you still would like it.
