My vote is for Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker from 'The Last Leg'......... I think they would give it a great twist.......

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Matt Leblanc said he would quit if he carried on, so that probably tipped the decision.

so yes, Chris Leblanc wanted to leave...

I quite like the chap, Rory? He's passionate and quite a good reviewer, his piece on the new focus was pretty good.

I'm not overly struck on any of the presenters if I'm totally honest. They all lack charisma - I'm sure once they've got used to their roles a little more, it'll become a little more fluid. I'm glad Evans has gone, he just wasn't a right fit and was OTT and on a different wavelength.

I'm sure they're all great presenters - Eddie Jordan was great on F1 and Sabine too as a guest on Top Gear - but the show could never be even similar. It'll lack that British sense of humour.

And I like him, think he and Chris are more than up to the job.

Seems to be more of an older person thing, different acceptable terms go in and out of fashion. Always thought it seemed a lot less offensive and warmer than black which is quite an aggressive word. Anyways. Yeah he's pretty good. I assume he is from the online or magazine side of things? They have plenty of really good writers in the magazine that have never had a voice on the TV before be nice to give these guys and girls a chance.

I am inclined to agree Si. Sure, the show did improve as the episodes progressed; but that polished, journalistic delivery was just missing a little something....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I'm 40. Not sure if that makes me 'an older person' or not? I know I feel old

I think older tbf. I suppose it depends of geography as well. I think technically its un PC to reference a persons skin colour at all.

As is sexism & ageism!

My opinion I didn't like Clarkson or Evans.

Get true petrol heads involved who are not celebs with their cars & views.

But the program would need a balance !

A good presenter yes very much interested in cars! + a great general show of different topics on cars.

What about James Martin the chef. He is very much a petrolhead and owns/has owned some astounding cars and has loads of presenting experience. Paul Hollywood might be another contender, did a great one off show about Aston Martin for the BBC.
