When I fitted mine (AEM) Dan there was a specific distance that was required from the turbo housing. So if you haven't got the gauges yet might be worth checking the fitting instructions first, before drilling holes and welding bungs on. Also mine needed to be fitted at a minimum angle, from horizontal, if that makes sense.?

for most wideband sensors it is recommended to put the sensor approx. 1 meter from the turbo (to prevent overheating and false readings under boost).

Though it needs to be placed before the catalyst (if present)

Wait for the instructions. they have specific positions perpendicular to the horizontal etc , you don't want to bodge a hole only to realize its wrong.

It's a real shame that a single cannot be mounted in the X pipe. Cut down on costing a fair bit.

thats a good idea if it worked. but least having the 2 banks under monitor you can see what size is going lean or rich, but the cost is a bit much saying that if you seen any issues pop up on the gauges it may well save the engine

They seem to put them in the back box when testing.

To be fair the cost of two is still way cheaper than a new engine.
