I bought one, was gonna fit it but the fitment is just horrible. I have read nothing but good things about these on the Internet so that's why I bought it.

Anyone here had problems with them?

Now I'm worrying, will trial fit mine tomorrow as I'm just back from hospital and am fecked.

Hospital??? Hopefully nothing awful...

Yeah!! been sick since Saturday last, haven't eaten since then, just fluids, A&E for 8 hours yesterday and surgeon for 2 hours today. Not one but two fecking Hernias!!! Surgery booked for 12 days time:wheelchair: Out of action for the next couple of months, so wages go down to breadline as I've no allowances:no::no:

Spiff's is a type 2 - JP's is a type 1....Might be worth having a chat with someone on one of the Facebook pages who's already fitted a type 2.

No mine is a type 1 also

My word that's a terrible fit! Apologies for the poor pics, I just popped out to the garage to take them but for reference, here is my one fitted. It took no bodies pushing down on it to make it fit and had no heating, cutting or modifying.

When did you buy yours?

If you could that be great.

I bought mine in the first UK preorder back in 2011. It didn't arrive until July 2012 though. Here is the original feedback thread: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?162950-TwinZ-twinchip-feedback

That looks perfect. Nothing like mine, perhaps something has happened to the mold over the years...

Where is it fouling on the inside - can you take a photo of the back of the spoiler where it mounts onto the tailgate?

If you see my picture of the left rear corner you see some marks on the masking tape where the wing was chafing pretty bad.

What I was looking for was evidence that the inside surface of the spoiler had been badly finished after the manufacturing moulds

had been removed and whether any excess material could be removed by hand to make the spoiler fit.

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Just back from the garage, my Type 2 sits fairly right and with a small bit of pressure is fine on top, but there is a centimeter gap between the lights and the bottom of the spoiler?? Am I missing a seal or something??

Hi Richie that spoiler looks bad mate and if I was you I would go for the 89 spec. Tell you what I will give you £100 for that rough piece of fibreglass.:whistling:

Just joking mate but I do think you have the plastic trim missing under the spoiler.

Well the inside was looking good, but it was fouling in the corners, you can see I've removed a bit here:

So after some effort, it didn't turn out that bad. I'm quite happy with the end result.

And especially how good the colormatch was, after I rubbed and polished the hatch you can't see any difference

But. This is what it took to get it seated :-P

Don't suppose the spoiler is for SWB fitment I'm not sure there is a difference but there might be as SWB have a different hatch.

Yeah no the wing is the same. No difference between short or long wb.

That's not turned out bad mate - I do like that spoiler....

All you need to do now (besides upgrading to '99-spec lights) is finish the inset above the lights in black to complete the OEM+ look....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

The black insert and Nissan twinturbo logos should be arriving along with my z1 smics and B&B catback later this month [emoji106]

As far as lights go I could either tint the brake light red for that oem look or go 99 spec. Haven't decided yet...?
