This was up for £1800, but saw the engine picture and saw most of the coil pack bolts missing. It was a bit too far for me to have a look and decided its one to avoid...

I bought it, as a do'er up'er ;)

RAD hoses are on the wrong way round too lol

Rad hoses were not on the wrong way around, it was an array of household plumbing :cowboy:

Look forward to seeing more pics :thumbup1:

The top pipe feeds to the top hose on the rad and the bottom pipe to the lower rad hose, so they are wrong, also looks like a load of steam on that top hose in the pic.

Get some of your own pics up to double check

Should look like this

The rad and plumbing have been ripped out to make way for new thermostat and new, black silicone piping. Reinstalling the rad/fan for now just to get it to the local MOT station and see what else it requires. I will get a decent rad/efan and thermo switch at some point. I just want to get it road worthy and get a feel for it until we move and do some serious work on it. For now it will be bits and bobs like discs/pads, air filter, oil and filter change etc. Need to rewire fog light/reverse lights to get through MOT aswell. RED LED bulb on order. Odometer wasn't working and it's because the KPH/MPH converter that was butchered in..cough cough has disconnected.

To be honest I will start a build thread/story for it at some point

Blimey a real bodge job lol, there is tons of info in the faq tech section and google obviously for all the jobs you need to do.

Good luck with the project and look forward to the updates

NB that wasnt my engine bay, this is mine

Trust me if I visit this site as regularly as I am, I will know the FAQ's by heart! Also I am a google king ;)

Wish I would have done a build thread tbh... would have been nice. I may put something together soon for my benefit:)
