So it's time, time start preparing for The Southern joint meet between 300zxclub, Zclub and 350uk. Hosted in the heart of the new forest at Beaulieu National Motor Museum, simply Japanese invites Japanese cars from all over to attend and have access to its grounds and museum for a reduced price. So please join us on the 31st of July 2016 between 10am and 6pm, at this family friendly event which goes from strength to strength each year.

My friend and father will be at the Tescos meet, but they wont be in the Zs so I guess will park elsewhere. My father will be in the MX5 and my mate will be in something very rare and special!

I am still hoping to be in the Z........ but....... if she fails the MOT or the transmission goes again........ will be parking the Audi outside and walking in hopefully...... If they allow us to use the entry tickets we bought months ago??

Looks like today is D-Day then........ if the transmission doesn't work then I will have to cancel........

just hoping to warm her up and set fluid at correct level........ I have today, Thursday, Friday to get her finished, MOT'd and running properly.......

Right then guys, we're in count down. The fabled flyer has come, so please have a little click of the image, save it and then print it off.

 

 

Do not forget to access the show via the "additional entrance" on the B3054, which will open at 8am. The main entrance will NOT open until 9am and is the public entrance.

 

I've had a a request from Formidable HQ to chat about some filming, be interesting to see what they are after.

have a great day guys, I was hoping to make it over again, although not in the zed, but my flight back from Tenerife has been delayed a few hours on sat night so will not even be home till 7am now, so must sleep instead lol

I collected the Zed from the garage today with new brakes and a brand new viscous coupling (thanks Z1) in place. And was hoping the coolant leak was fixed too - as the mechanic says all it looked to need was a couple of hoses tightened and re-positioned. Albeit he was not 100% certain......

 

....However after a short run this evening, I got home and coolant is still running out under the right-front of the engine compartment. So I'm not using it over any distance of more than a couple of miles, until fixed. Sorry folks - but have a great day!

Wrong side mate! When I said right, I was referring to the driver's side:wink: I reckon it's the bottom hose, or the rad itself, as coolant pours out pretty much as soon as I pour it through the filler neck.

If you've a alloy rad, their is normally a drain plug in the Os of the rad,
