So today I'm working this evening, the day is mine! The sun is out as well, winner! Got up nice and late and gave her her first wash this year a treated her to a fresh layer or polish and wax.

And some close ups to show that shine we all lust over. Then on to the sensible stuff, checked all the fluids, double checked the torque on the wheel nuts, they've been on and off a lot recently. And checked the tyre pressures, dropped a few PSI through winter.

Now I'm waiting, car in the air while the boys have it on the hunter sorting out the geometry. So far I've had three people stop me and saw what a nice car it is and a few people pointing at it as I drive along. Restores your faith is these pain in the ass dinosaurs.

Looking nice Stephen. Will be taxing mine later tonight and cleaning at weekend. Not been out of garage since October.

Hope to get to Beaulieu this year.

Cheers Howard, I'd forgotten it could look that nice.

Alignment complete. Managed to get a price ahead of £60 for front and rear, then they had a mess to sort haha! Before and after below.

A red focus came up behind me today all excitedly, then passed thumb up. Who that, I thought. Only our very own hellraiser. I left him and thundered off through the purbecks. Pictures I hear you cry, well though I was too busy driving.

Saw this red beauty in the distance I had to have my fix of the noise... she sounded lovely Steve. Looked the nuts too. Well done fella.

 Glad I managed to give you your fix, what's the chances though that we'd even cross paths today.

Looking really good now that you've replaced that awful nose panel and black bonnet. Nice Steve!

Lol cheers Si. The bonnet needs a respray though, the paint I applied last summer blew over winter, annoying but hey. I think I put the cover on too quick.

I feel it needs a splitter. Might ditch the fogs. Pretty tempted to reinstate the nose badge as well. And the door mirror mounts might go black yet. Quite like that stock look.

Did the guys have to input the specs Steve?-last time I used a Hunter the Z32 wasn't on there.

The red it is now is more red than the black that it was in!

Stock body is the best look IMO. It's why most of us fell in love with the car's stunning shape to begin with it. The design was almost spot-on from the master designers at Nissan. No amount of fibreglass hobnobs made by a bloke in shed or little trinkets is going to really do much to improve its already sleek and sexy shape.

I don't know tbh mate. They asked for the year, then came out a bit confused as it was listed as 2004 which I explained was the year of import. Seems correct to the settings I found previously.
